Because every window does not do a perfect job of reducing energy bills, it has a cost. I suggest to my readers that they use the NFRC ratings to determine the real cost of a window. <BR/><BR/>If you discovered that the Best Available Technology reduced your energy bills more significantly than any other, it probably would rate as the lowest cost.<BR/><BR/>My purpose for writing the book is my deep concern for our dependency on foreign oil and what I perceive to be global warming. We have the technology to help these causes, now all we need is the will and knowledge to be shouted from the roof tops. I hope I haven't offended anyone.
